Is the AI advice safe?
It's chemistry guidance, not a substitute for a licensed pool inspection. Always cross-check critical doses (especially with kids/pets nearby) and never mix chlorine with acid. We escalate to local pros for safety, electrical, or structural issues.
How is this different from PoolMath / Pool Calculator apps?
Those are static formulas — input a number, output a fixed answer. PoolAssist is conversational, reads photos directly, factors in your 30-day history + season, and writes multi-round protocols when one dose isn't enough.
Where does my data go?
Photos and readings are stored encrypted in your account. We use Anthropic Claude for AI analysis (their data policy: no training on user data). You can export or delete anything at [email protected].
